About our edge AI and computer vision

BizLab FLOW uses advanced AI-powered sensor technology to analyze audience interactions in real time, while ensuring full data privacy and GDPR compliance.
When a person is detected by a sensor, data is processed locally and instantly for the duration of their presence. Each interaction is assigned a unique, temporary ID, and only anonymized metadata, such as age group and gender, is collected.
This anonymized data is securely sent to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, where it is compiled into visual statistics and insights for users.
No images, videos, or audio are ever stored. Once the interaction ends, no identifiable data remains on the local device. All collected data is fully anonymous and cannot be linked to any individual.
Unlike traditional video surveillance, which records and saves footage, BizLab FLOW offers privacy-safe, non-intrusive analytics that enable smarter, data-driven decisions without compromising user trust.

Local Hardware

All data is processed locally. The system does not collect personal data that can identify individuals. After an interaction ends, no data remains on the device, so no requests for access, correction, or deletion can be made.

Microsoft Azure

BizLab uses encryption and adheres to high-security standards to protect data. Anonymized data sent from local devices to the cloud is encrypted. BizLab's data is stored within the EU/EEA. Microsoft Azure complies with GDPR security requirements.

Computer Vision

The system uses computer vision to detect gender, age, and emotional expression. It does not collect personal or biometric data that could identify individuals. Therefore, BizLab does not process personal data as defined by GDPR.

FLOW

The user interface is easily accessible via the application login. Administrators can manage user permissions directly. Users can quickly view visitor summaries or generate detailed reports based on their preferences.

How do I get started?

The OEM license for FLOW can be obtained through an authorized Service Provider Partner (SPP) or directly from BizLab.

Who signs the license agreement?

The license agreement is signed with BizLab Analytics AB.

What hardware is required to use your service?

The license is an OEM license tied to specific hardware with pre-installed software—specifically, the sensor and sensor unit. To ensure data quality, information security, and full GDPR compliance, we only support hardware tested and approved by us.

We have a CMS; can I integrate your analytics tool with it?

While there are some limitations, our Reach Counter lets you track real-time audience reach on your screens. For more detailed ad analytics, such as viewer counts or targeted ads for specific audiences, our CMS is required.
